Odlo I-Thermic
As the Scandinavians say:
“There is no bad weather,
just bad clothes.” It’s a
wisdom that Norwegian
sports brand Odlo applies
to its garments. Every
outdoor type knows that
the clever use of layers
is key, and things don’t
get smarter than Odlo’s
I-Thermic midlayer.
Within the fibres of the
garment are thermal
sensors mapped to the
bodily regions most
susceptible to the cold:
the abdomen and kidneys.
Using a smartphone app,
the wearer tunes the
sensors to their personal
requirements, meaning
the fabric warms up when
the temperature drops
below their comfort zone.
And when the battery
(located in the pocket) is
removed, the shirt can be
machine-washed at 30°C.
