BASIC INFORMATION<br />

THO-North serves a population of 130,000 and a<br />

catchment of 240,000 for some specialties. All major<br />

specialties are represented in this training network<br />

except for neurosurgery and cardiac surgery.<br />

The Royal Hobart Hospital is the tertiary referral<br />

centre for all of Tasmania. It services a population<br />

of approximately 240 000 people. THS- RHH offers a<br />

comprehensive range of specialties.<br />
