Year 6 have had another brilliant week! We have seen some more fantastic<br />
illustrations for the Ickabog competition, with very detailed drawings that include<br />
the information we have read in the story. Our class, at home and at<br />
school, have continued to read The Explorer together and wrote our own postcards<br />
home as if we were stuck in the Amazon. As well as this, we have had<br />
a go at becoming journalists and created very professional newspaper reports<br />
detailing the plane crash. In Geography, Year 6 have also taken to some map<br />
drawing and have mapped out their local area ensuring they are detailed and<br />
accurate for others to follow. We enjoyed another brilliant quiz on Zoom and<br />
were so impressed by the new ‘quiz masters’ this week. To round off the week,<br />
some of our class have even designed a new outdoor area for the students at<br />
Hogwarts using a budget of £1500, they have designed some very extravagant<br />
areas and stuck to their budgets well. Well done on another brilliant week Year<br />
6!
