Class 3 are entering the final stages of our geography topic this term ‘Rainforests’. This<br />
week, we have created various forms of posters to advertise the rainforests around the<br />
world whilst using some of the computing skills learnt this year as well as the features<br />
that contribute to making posters visually attractive to an audience.<br />
We have also viewed an emotive advert about palm oil and deforestation before exploring<br />
our own cupboards to find out how many products we have, that contain this<br />
ingredient. Some children researched information about sustainable farming of palm oil<br />
and realised this was a much more, environmentally friendly way to produce an ingredient<br />
that is is so many of our daily foods and showering products.
