Can you give information about your new products?<br />
Which products are the people looking for in this<br />
period?<br />
Our foreign customers tended to more economical<br />
carpets for online sales. But sales of other qualities<br />
continue to a certain extent. Customers prefer more<br />
pattern and color harmony as well as economical<br />
carpets. As the carpet culture is more dominant<br />
in the domestic carpet market, acrylic products<br />
are preferred. At the same time, decorative products<br />
are up to date. With our Prestige Halı brand,<br />
we make acrylic, custom-sized hallway rugs and<br />
digitally printed carpet collections for our domestic<br />
customers and offer up-to-date colors and patterns<br />
to our customers.<br />
Can you give information about the developments<br />
in export studies?<br />
Başaran Halı is a brand which exports 80 % of its<br />
production to various countries over the world and<br />
focuses on customer satisfaction and quality in the<br />
sector. We are going on exporting many countries<br />
such as USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Europe.<br />
In 2021 we will continue to work with new investments<br />
by targeting the product and quality variety.<br />
What are your studies and thoughts about online<br />
sales? How is the carpet sector about this topic?<br />
An increase occurred in the online sales all over the<br />
world after pandemic. Now it shows growing signals<br />
about the online sales in USA and Europe markets.<br />
In Turkey there is an increase on online carpet<br />
market. I think this increase will be more in the next<br />
years. We continue the studies about infrastructure<br />
of online sales and plant to begin to sell in 2021.<br />
What would you like to add last?<br />
Our company will be a sought-after brand in the<br />
sector without compromising its vision and stability.<br />
As Gaziantep, we produce 70% of the machine<br />
carpet production in the world. I believe that as long<br />
as we can maintain our innovative and competitive<br />
structure with common sense, we will maintain this<br />
leadership and our success.<br />
