TAKE A LITTLE ROADTRIP TO THE DISTILLERYOF YOUR DREAMSIf you’re feeling up to a little road trip, you’ll find a hidden gempast the outskirts of town.Of The Earth Farm + Distillery is located just north of Richmond,in the gently rolling hills of Ray CountyThe Pierce Family has been at their farm since the early 90s,building and adding on to the operation in the years since then.Of The Earth Farm contains a seven-acre orchard that includes 26varieties of apples, two varieties of Asian pears and two varietiesof peaches. The apples are used to produce premium spirits, liketheir flagship product, Apple Brandy. Other spirits produced byOf The Earth Farm include Ray County Rye Whiskey made withMissouri rye, Grappa created from Missouri grapes, and BlackberryLiqueur made with fresh, local berries. (see full list, below).In addition to these year-round products, the Of The Earth Farm+ Distillery Tasting Room offers bottles of their seasonal, smallbatch,short-run spirits; like Nocino and Holiday Apple Brandy.Open each weekend (April – December), the Tasting Room has anever-expanding selection of cocktails, beer, wine, and light food.Special events with live music and entertainment are a monthlyhighlight.In addition to locally sourced and produced spirits, Of The EarthFarm has grass-fed meats from their Berkshire hogs and Katahdinsheep and fruit from the orchard. Pork and lamb cuts are availablefor purchase year-round.
