First of all, on the occasion of our first issue in <strong>2021</strong>, may the new year bring health, beauty,<br />
happiness and peace to all humanity. I would like you to know that we will once again do effective<br />
works with our best efforts and beneficial collaborations in order to reach our industry with these<br />
wishes as soon as possible.<br />
The cosmetics industry made a rapid entry into <strong>2021</strong> without compromising its operating<br />
performance. Many of our companies that deserve standing ovation with their works will welcome<br />
you on the following pages. The subjects of the file we have prepared will make you think about<br />
where we came from, where are we going...<br />
We always read the expiration dates on lipsticks, which are the most important complement to<br />
make-up. Anyone have any idea about the first use date? How many people do we know about<br />
the emergence story of our lipsticks which we use as a source of motivation even in this<br />
difficult period? We are sure that after this news we will be many people... For our industry<br />
professionals who always bring us together with innovations and new products, we researched<br />
the emergence story of lipsticks, which are indispensable for color cosmetics...<br />
Sometimes it is an indicator of status, sometimes an understanding of sociability, sometimes an<br />
indispensable part of personal care… Today, manicure and pedicure, which we see as an indicator<br />
of well-being, was actually has played an important role in human life starting roughly from 3000<br />
BC. The practice, which found a place in life as a symbol of social status, a sign of nobility and a life<br />

The umbrella organization of chemistry industry, Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products<br />
Exporters’ Association (İKMİB) performed an important sectoral report that will curb<br />
imports in chemistry and play an active role in reducing the current account deficit. With<br />
the “Turkish Chemical Industry Investment Products Report”, IKMIB focused on the 157<br />
product categories that were imported most in the field of chemistry, and set 103 strategic product<br />
areas that await domestic production moves…<br />

HOŞ GELDİN <strong>2021</strong>!<br />
Öncelikle <strong>2021</strong> yılındaki bu ilk sayımız vesilesiyle, yeni senenin tüm insanlık için sağlık,<br />
güzellik, mutluluk ve huzur getirmesini diliyorum. Sektörümüzü bu temennilerle bir an evvel<br />
kavuşturabilmek içinse bu yıl da elimizden gelen çabayla, faydalı iş birlikleriyle verimli işlere yine<br />
imzamızı atacağımızı bilmenizi isterim.<br />
Kozmetik sektörü, <strong>2021</strong>’e de çalışma performansından eksiltmeden hızlı bir giriş yaptı.<br />
Çalışmalarıyla ayakta alkışlanmayı hak eden birçok firmamız ilerleyen sayfalarda sizleri<br />
karşılayacak. Hazırladığımız dosya konularımız ise sizleri, nereden geldik, nereye gidiyoruz diye<br />
düşündürecek…<br />
Makyajın en önemli tamamlayıcısı olan rujların üzerinde hep son kullanma tarihlerini okuyoruz.<br />

profesyonellerimiz için renkli kozmetiğin vazgeçilmezi rujların ortaya çıkış hikayesini araştırdık…<br />
Kimi zaman statünün bir göstergesi, kimi zaman sosyallik anlayışı, kimi zamansa kişisel bakımın<br />
olmazsa olmazı… Bugün, bir bakımlılık göstergesi olarak gördüğümüz manikür ve pedikür<br />
aslında M.Ö. 3000 yılından beri insanlığın hayatında önemli bir role sahip. Eski dönemlerde sosyal<br />
statünün göstergesi, soyluluğun belirtisi ve hayat görüşünün bir simgesi olarak yaşamda yer bulan<br />
uygulama, günümüzde rutin bir alışkanlık olarak el ve ayak bakımımızda hayatlarımıza dahil<br />
oluyor…<br />
Kimya sektörünün çatı kuruluşu İstanbul Kimyevi Maddeler ve Mamulleri İhracatçıları Birliği<br />
(İKMİB), kimyada ithalatı frenleyecek ve cari açığın azalmasında etkin rol oynayacak önemli<br />
bir sektörel rapora imza attı. “Türk Kimya Sektörü Yatırım Öncelikli Ürünler Raporu” ile kimya<br />
alanında en fazla ithal edilen 157 ürün kategorisini mercek altına alan İKMİB, yerli üretim hamlesi<br />
bekleyen 103 stratejik ürün alanını belirledi…<br />
