1. The goalkeeper must wear a helmet<br />
with face mask, separate throat<br />
protector, a mouth piece, a chest<br />
protector.<br />
2. All field players shall wear<br />
properly an intra-oral mouthpiece<br />
that covers all upper teeth.<br />
3. All field players shall wear<br />
protective eyewear that meets current<br />
ASTM lacrosse standards (effective<br />
January 1, 2005).<br />

NOCSAE mark, equipped with face<br />
mask and chin pad, with a cupped<br />
four-point chin strap (high-point<br />
hookup).<br />
2. Intra-oral mouthpiece that covers all<br />

3. Protective gloves, shoulder pads,<br />
shoes and jerseys. Shoulder pads<br />

4. Projection of metal or other hard<br />
substance from a player’s person<br />
or clothing.<br />
1. The use of pads or protectors made<br />
of metal or any other material likely<br />
to cause injury to a player is<br />
prohibited.<br />
2. The use of any protective<br />
equipment that is not injurious to the<br />
player wearing it or other players is<br />
recommended.<br />
3. Jewelry is not allowed, except for<br />
religious or medical medals, which<br />
must be taped to the body.<br />
Protective devices necessitated on<br />
genuine medical grounds must be<br />
approved by the umpires. Closefitting<br />
gloves, nose guards, eye<br />
guards and soft headgear may be<br />
worn by all players. These devices<br />
must create no danger to other<br />
players.<br />
1. A player shall not wear any<br />
equipment that, in the opinion of the<br />
official, endangers the individual or<br />
others.<br />
2. The special equipment worn by the<br />
goalkeeper shall not exceed standard<br />
equipment for a field player, plus<br />
standard goalkeeper equipment,<br />
which includes shin guards, chest<br />
protectors and throat protectors.<br />
