Mavs&Mochas: April in Southlake

You could speculate that if you wanted to order up a
cool Saturday morning, just schedule a Mavs & Mochas
event and it will for sure be unseasonably cool! That was
definitely this Saturday in April when the cool morning

first event, having just picked up his 2021 Boxster Spyder
finished in a beautiful Gentian Blue Metallic - it looked
fantastic! Seeing 4-door Porsches in some non-standard colors
was also cool, like the Carmine Red Macan and a Frozen Blue

temperature was right
at 50, with a brisk wind
making it feel even
cooler. No matter, as
the Maverick faithful
are not afraid of a cool
morning in April! And
faithful they were, as the
cars started appearing
a good bit early before
the “official” start time.
This month the feature
was the 4-door Porsches,
with several (28 to be
exact) Cayennes, Macans, Panamaras, and even a couple
of Taycans making a special appearance.
This is the first time back to Southlake in 15 months,
and there were some cool cars that I had never seen before.
I spoke with one new member who was attending his very
Taycan. I saw in some pictures later that there was a 997 GT2
in attendance as well, but somehow I missed it.
All in all, over 140 Porsches lined the various streets along
the Square, cementing this location as a fan-favorite. Next
time we won’t wait so long to come back!
