School Guidance Counsellor
Term Time Only, Part-time 35 hours per week
We are actively seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, innovative, highly motivated,
organised and culturally responsive registered guidance counsellor to work
alongside our learners, staff and the wider community.
Your core role is to offer counselling services to learners, staff and whānau as
required. Our counselling team work collaboratively to ensure school-wide Hauora
(wellbeing) and care systems evolve so we continue to meet the needs of our
school community.
Working collaboratively with the staff, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and
inclusive climate in the college. Having a willingness to commit to co-curricular and
extracurricular activities is highly recommended.
Applicants must hold a current membership or provisional status with NZAC or
similar professional body. Or be a registered teacher with a current practising
certificate (preferred but not a prerequisite).
This role is a part-time, permanent, term time only position (35 hours per week*
negotiable for the right candidate) with an immediate start. Job description and

NOTIFICATION OF THE SUMMARY OF SUBMISSIONS AND
CALL FOR FURTHER SUBMISSIONS ON PRIVATE PLAN
CHANGE REQUEST 67
GW Wilfield Limited has requested to rezone 33.4 hectares of land located on the south
side of Kingsdowne Drive in West Melton from Rural to Living WM South zone.
A summary of the submissions on the private plan change request (PC67), along with a copy of
the original submissions, is now available for viewing electronically at Selwyn District Council
libraries and service centres, and online at www.selwyn.govt.nz/pc67.
A hard copy of this information is also available for viewing at Council’s Rolleston Offices.
Further submissions may only be lodged by the following:
a. Any person representing a relevant aspect of the public interest; and
b. Any person that has an interest in the plan change greater than the interest that the general
public has; and
c. The local authority itself.
Further submissions must be limited to matters either in support of or in opposition to an
original submission made on PC67. This must be in writing and in accordance with Form 6,
which is available from any Council service centre or online at www.selwyn.govt.nz/pc67.
Further submissions must be served on the Council in one of the following ways:
