Software platforms for spas that have the ability
to integrate with other hospitality services are
favourable. Spas are looking for a system that
will speak to Oracle hospitality, Adyen’s payment
gateway, GiveX to manage gift cards and more.
Without these, businesses are not building a
sustainable platform for the long-run. It might work
right now, but won’t work in the future as more and
more platforms are injected at the property level. It
sounds like a no-brainer, but definitely something
that is becoming top of mind when considering
purchasing spa software.

An Integrated System
I started talking about this in the beginning
of this article when discussing software.
Spa owners are now gravitating towards
centralized systems that will speak to
one another and help tie the information
together. For example, when a hotel guest
checks in, they’re typically speaking to the
front desk and providing them with their
name, room number, and general details.
As a spa manager or spa director, when
that guest wakes up tomorrow and wants
to book a treatment, wouldn’t it be great
to have that information sync over to your
system?
Like I said in the beginning, technology is
disrupting the status quo of the spa industry
(in a good way). Forward-thinking leaders
have already jumped on these trends and
are in the “implementation phases”. At

for spa management software from what
people are searching for and ultimately,
purchasing our platform.
