Statement: I have had the pleasure of serving<br />
<strong>Kentucky</strong> as a registered nurse for 25 years in a<br />
variety of clinical, education, and leadership roles.<br />
I currently serve the KNA as the chapter liaison to<br />
the board of directors and chair for the River City<br />
Chapter. I have a passion for the nursing profession<br />
and would welcome the opportunity to support<br />
<strong>Kentucky</strong>’s almost 90,000 nurses. The work of the<br />
KNA inspires me daily and I would be honored to be<br />
elected to the role of President-Elect to continue the<br />
great work of the KNA. Together, we can make a<br />

Statement: I have close to 20 years of service<br />
and leadership experience in state professional<br />
organizations. These positions have afforded me<br />
the opportunity to learn and build many skills.<br />
Specifically, my strengths include teamwork,<br />
transparency, strong organizational skills, honesty<br />
and the ability to maintain a sense of humor. I<br />
see leadership as a privilege that comes with a<br />
responsibility to serve the organization to the best<br />
of my ability. I take this responsibility seriously. Now<br />
more than ever we have a voice that is being heard<br />
and are in a good position to leverage relationships<br />
among our own nursing groups such as KBN,<br />
