Volunteers Wanted<br />
The <strong>Wigan</strong> Diggers Festival Committee are looking for<br />
volunteers to help at this year’s festival.<br />
The <strong>Wigan</strong> Diggers Festival takes place from 11am to<br />
9.30pm on Saturday 11th <strong>September</strong> in the Gerrard<br />
Winstanley Garden’s near the Wiend, and celebrates<br />
the life, ideas and influence of <strong>Wigan</strong>-born Gerrard<br />
Winstanley.<br />
Festival organisers need people to help build the festival<br />
site on the Friday and help to take it all down again on<br />
the Sunday.<br />
On the day of the festival, volunteers are needed for<br />
various jobs, including working behind the bar, help with<br />
stewarding the festival site, collecting rubbish throughout<br />
the day and helping behind the stage.<br />
