Can there really be such a thing?
A hand screwdriver with almost
unbelievable speed that works very
precisely and also enables powerful
final screwdriving.
The Wera Kraftform Turbo screwdriver
set can speed up screwing by a
factor of 4. In order to quadruple the
screwing speed, the Tool Rebels from
Wera have designed a turbo gear that
can be switched on or off as desired.
The turbo gear is made possible by a
particularly sophisticated planetary
gear that is located in the handle of
the screwdriver.
The Kraftform Turbo speeds up
screwdriving in a purely mechanical
way. Additional batteries are not
necessary. The best use of the function
is always possible when smoothrunning
screw connections have
to be mastered. The turbo function
can be deactivated at the touch of a
button for hard-to-turn screws (e.g.
in wood). This deactivation of the
turbo gear is also recommended for
fine adjustment or for final tightening
or loosening of a screw with high
torque.
The planetary gear is made of steel
and is therefore practically maintenance-free.
A long product life is
therefore guaranteed.
Thanks to the Rapidaptor bit holder,
the Kraftform Turbo can be used
with all conventional 6.3 mm (1/4“)
hexagon bits for a wide range of
screw profiles. The bits can be inserted
directly thanks to the Rapidaptor
function and easily removed
by pushing the sleeve forward -
all with just one hand.
In addition to the handle itself,
the 19-piece sets of the workshop
version of the Kraftform Turbo
contain further 18 bits in 89 mm
lengths. Everything neatly and
practically stowed away in a robust
textile box. This means that users
are also well equipped for mobile
use.
The insulated version for safe
working even under voltage works
according to the same principle as
the workshop version. Here, too,
the planetary gear can be switched
on and off. One difference is the bit
holder. With its 9 mm holder, the
Kraftform Turbo i is suitable for
all Wera Kraftform Kompakt VDE
interchangeable blades. This
„holder/interchangeable blade
system“ ensures flexible working
with many screw profiles.
The VDE sets contain 16 pieces. They
contain 2 handles: One is the 817
VDE Kraftform hand holder, the other
is the 827 T i Kraftform Turbo hand
holder. Also included are 14 VDE
interchangeable blades (each 154
mm long), some of which have a
reduced blade diameter/integrated
protective insulation. In this way,
even low-lying screws and spring
elements can be reached and
operated.
