Crucial for trimming costs, comprehensive
energy measurement
is necessary to optimize energy
consumption. To simplify this task,
WAGO’s portfolio now has new
MID-certified energy meters that
feature lever-actuated Push-in CAGE
CLAMP ® connection technology and
several industry-leading benefits.
In addition to the values for active
and reactive energy, WAGO’s energy
meters also record the mains
frequency, as well as current,
voltage and power for all phases.
Furthermore, they are equipped with
large, illuminated displays so users
can conveniently scan all of these
energy characteristics at a glance.
Touch-sensitive controls also simplify
the operation of these meters.
An app that communicates with the
device via Bluetooth ® is also available
for easy configuration. Additionally,
all devices have both an M-Bus
and Modbus ® interface that users
can select from; two S0 interfaces
with an adjustable pulse rate are
available for both energy directions.
The lever-actuated Push-in CAGE
CLAMP ® connection technology
offers a key advantage: Wiring is
performed without tools and spring
pressure termination technology
provides maintenance-free and
secure connections over the entire
service life. Therefore, the meters‘
operational capability is permanently
guaranteed for currents of up to 65 A
– this a huge reassurance for those
with industrial applications that are
exposed to shocks or vibration.
With these new energy meters, a
wide variety of building or industrial
applications can be implemented
thanks to the MID declaration of
conformity. Applications with
consumption billing are also possible.
All recorded data can either
be shown on the large display or
conveniently recorded and displayed
in the WAGO Energy Data Management
application. The devices have
a width of just 71 mm.These slim
profiles save a tremendous amount
of control cabinet space.
