FBR salutes the veterans in franchising,
along with all our award-winning brands
HomeWell Care Services franchise owner Will Childers, who’s
featured on the cover of our latest report on the Top Franchises for
Veterans, embodies everything we admire about military veterans.
Following an exciting and productive six-year stint in the U.S. Marine
Corps, Will cared for his ailing grandmother, a cancer survivor who
battled Alzheimer’s and diabetes along with a number of other physical
setbacks. Will helped make sure his grandma, who was instrumental
in raising him when his mother died when he was 6, took her daily
medications, prepared her meals and washed her clothes. He even
slept outside her bedroom door to ensure she didn’t wander aimlessly
outside in the middle of the night like she was prone to do at the end
of her life.
Will’s selfless devotion to duty is just one reason why military
veterans are coveted by many franchises. The brave men and women
who served and protected our country often make for great candidates
for franchise ownership.
Franchise Business Review is honored to recognize the Top Franchises
for Veterans for the 11th straight year. The 80 brands that made our
awards list this year represent franchising’s finest when it comes to
providing veterans the training, support and overall engagement
needed to be successful franchise owners.
Our latest Buyer’s Guide also spotlights the Most Profitable and
Top Multi-Unit Franchises, based on how their franchise owners, the
real franchise experts, rate their brands. The Most Profitable and Top
Multi-Unit awards lists are closely aligned since owning more than one
franchise is the surest path to increasing profits. But, along with that,
we also know from 16+ plus years of independent market research that
high franchise owner satisfaction drives higher financial performance.
We salute all the franchises on our awards lists, and encourage
anyone shopping for a franchise to buy to take note of these exceptional
companies.
