FBR salutes the veterans in franchising,
along with all our award-winning brands
HomeWell Care Services franchise owner Will Childers, who’s
featured on the cover of our latest report on the Top Franchises for
Veterans, embodies everything we admire about military veterans.
Following an exciting and productive six-year stint in the U.S. Marine
Corps, Will cared for his ailing grandmother, a cancer survivor who
battled Alzheimer’s and diabetes along with a number of other physical
setbacks. Will helped make sure his grandma, who was instrumental
in raising him when his mother died when he was 6, took her daily
medications, prepared her meals and washed her clothes. He even
slept outside her bedroom door to ensure she didn’t wander aimlessly
outside in the middle of the night like she was prone to do at the end
of her life.
Will’s selfless devotion to duty is just one reason why military
veterans are coveted by many franchises. The brave men and women
who served and protected our country often make for great candidates
for franchise ownership.
Franchise Business Review is honored to recognize the Top Franchises
