She is an eager geophysicistwho challenges the status quo for technical excellencewithin projects looking for innovation. Her curiosity inscience, passion for physics, and mathematics enabled herdecision to start her career in geophysics with the dream topredict earthquakes, and shortly decided to explore forhydrocarbons within the energy business.After ten years working in Argentina engaged in diverseprojects, from seismic acquisition design and interpretationsearching for hydrocarbon accumulations, to leadingintegrated multi-disciplinary studies for new opportunities,Teresa commenced her international career to master instate-of-the-art leading-edge technologies in quantitativeseismic interpretation to predict reservoir properties fromthe subsurface. As a result, she was immersed in hugeglobal discoveries such as fields in offshore Guyana andoffshore North West Australia. Then, she decided to returnto Argentina, her home country, to give back her expertiseto the local community.Currently, she is the Chief Geophysicist, Diversity Officer,and Advisor in Geophysics at YPF, a company that iscommitted to generate the energy that is important forpeople and their daily lives. YPF was wellprepared to face the COVID challenge. All working datawas already transferred to the cloud, servers and hardwarewere prepared for employees to work from their homewhen their roles allowed.
