Double your impact when
you give to Citizens Inn
FOR THE WEEKLY NEWS
We know how much you
care about your community, as
a treasured friend of Citizens
Inn. And so we hope you will
take advantage of the opportunity
to DOUBLE the impact of
your support through December
31. Dan Johnson and Faye Kolhonen
have generously sponsored
a $50,000 MATCHING
CHALLENGE, where $1 will
be given for every $1 that you
donate.
A gift of $50 will make a
$100 impact.
with support from Haven from Hunger
FOR THE WEEKLY NEWS
When schools were closed
due to the pandemic in 2020,
No Child Goes Hungry Peabody
transitioned from a source
of additional food on weekends
for children that suffer from
food insecurity to a program
that provided groceries to approximately
900 students per
week. The program continues
today to service over 300 students
with backpacks delivered
$500 impact.
A gift of $500 will make a
$1,000 impact.
This year, 65 kids will wake
up in shelter on Christmas
morning. While this can be hard
on the kids, it's even harder on
our moms and dads, who are
doing their best to get back on
their feet. With donations, we
can purchase gift cards so our
parents can experience the joy
and dignity of shopping for
their children's gifts.
As you do your holiday
shopping, please consider making
a gift to those who have fallen
on hard times in your community
and it will have TWICE
the impact.
In the week leading up to
Christmas last year, our Haven
from Hunger food pantry program
served 541 unduplicated
households. We anticipate similar
demand this year but will
have to meet it with fewer resources,
so donations are more
critical than ever. Please help us
keep this important operation
running by making a gift today.
Your support will go FUR-
THER by donating between
now and December 31 and
having it DOUBLED with our
Matching Challenge.
right to their door. No Child
Goes Hungry is able to do this
with the support of volunteers,
Citizens Inn/Haven From Hunger,
sponsorships and generous
donations from the community.
