The Julius Baer Group establishes provisions for current and pending legal proceedings if the relevant attorneys are of the opinion that the Group is more likely than not to face payments or losses and if the amount of such payments or losses can be reasonably estimated. All provisions for risks stemming from legal proceedings are contained in the item other provisions in the consolidated balance sheet.
