I really appreciate my colleagues’

What did it mean to you to be part
of this amazing global experience?
Entering the Global Creative
Awards has been a great way to push
my boundaries. During the creative
process, I really learned some
special techniques.
What’s your opinion of international
competitions like the Global
Creative Awards ?
They are so important. Entering the
Global Creative Awards is a great
opportunity to review your
inner-self and push your limits.
Also, it is important for stylists from
Taiwan to be recognized on the
global stage.
How did you feel about this being
a virtual experience?
Even though the world is still
suffering from Covid, thanks to
Goldwell’s insistence and
perseverance we were at least able to
go ahead virtually. I’m definitely
looking forward to the 2022 event!
What was the inspiration behind
the images in your collection?
The inspiration came from Covid
times. Humankind had to change
the way it lived. I used the 2021
Pantone Colours - grey and yellow
- for my creation to reflect our
search for hope and balance.
Do you have any advice for future
Global Creative Awards entrants?
Never give up never give in. Keep
working and entering competitions,
the process of creation will help you
to step outside your comfort zone
and think outside the box.

Why was it important for you to
enter the Global Creative Awards?
To build my self-motivation and
also for the wonderful enjoyment
of being able to create a unique
piece of work on my own. It was an
amazing feeling when I found out I’d
got through to the final 6 and then
to go on to win the Silver award!
How did you feel about this being
a virtual experience and what
about 2022 being live again?
All the arrangements for the virtual
event went so well, it’s also a real
innovation for our industry. I’m
definitely looking forward to next
year. I hope Covid goes away next
year, as I am more than ready for the
next round!
Talk us through the collection
which won you the Silver award?
My inspiration is the change in sky
when different weather fronts move
in. It’s something that changes all
the time - a bit like our moods:
happy, sad or angry.

thanks to my bestie Eva He. She
showed her sincere encouragement

Why was it important for you to
enter the Global Creative Awards?
As a salon owner, it is important to
encourage your team to step out
their comfort zone. Through the
Global Creative Awards journey, my
team could broaden their horizons
and gain unexpected experiences.
Which emotion did you feel when
you realised you’d won?
Personally, it was one of peace and
happiness for my team. They
worked so hard and gained such a
good result: their moment of glory!
Do you think it’s important to
enter international competitions?
Yes, sure. The Competition is more
about creative inspiration than
putting together general commercial
looks. It is a special experience that
you can’t gain in a salon.
Some advice for anyone thinking
of entering in the future?
For young stylists, don’t limit
yourself and try as hard as you
possibly can. For salon owners, give
your team you full support.
Who would you like to thank?
My team, K-Hans Salon and also
my personal close friend Sai, a
well-known director in Taiwan.
