Another innovation was the Senior Captain’s<br />
Charity Stable<strong>for</strong>d which was held in June.<br />
Thanks to the generosity of members, visitors and<br />
those who donated prizes <strong>for</strong> the raffle we were<br />
able to raise £900 <strong>for</strong> our nominated charity,<br />
Oversteps. Our thanks go to Derek MacDougall<br />
<strong>for</strong> his work organising the raffle.<br />
Finally, as I approach the end of my three-year term<br />
as Secretary, I would like to offer my successor,<br />
David Offin, the best of luck. I am sure everyone<br />
will support him in the way they have me.<br />

Despite the problems faced during the year the<br />
Senior Section has flourished, having a<br />
membership of 64, a significant number of whom<br />
have joined us this year. It is through their<br />
involvement that the Section is able to thrive and<br />
I would like to thank them <strong>for</strong> their support. I<br />
would also like to thank Andrew Skinner and the<br />
staff in the Pro Shop <strong>for</strong> all their assistance; also<br />
the office staff.<br />
