SIMON ZEBO
On Tadhg Beirne…
“I am probably even more impressed with
him having been with him and around him as
much as I have been over the last few months.
Obviously, he is an incredible athlete, he is
incredible over the ball, his attacking, his line
of running – everything. He ticks every box for
a second row/back row. The most impressive
thing about him would be his skills - his
offloading ability, his passing ability and just
he is a really smart rugby player. I saw over the
weekend he put in a 50:22 or something or a
pretty good attempt at one anyway so and he
is the full package. His contract is very well
deserved.”
On returning to
Munster…
“It has been great for
myself and my family. We are
all really happy. It is my home
club. It is the club I grew up wanting
to play for. Having the opportunity to
come back from Racing and rejoin the
team – I am very grateful for it. To get
to extend my stay is great. I'll just keep
doing what I'm doing and try and put
my best foot forward every week for
Munster and see what happens.”
On finding consistency…
“For me personally just trying to
get a run of games and get a nice
rhythm heading into the back end
of the season. I feel fresh. I haven't
played a lot of rugby for one
reason or another so hopefully
now we can get some consistency
and get some rhythm and attack
the final leg of the season and try
and win some silverware.”
