Zimmer Biomet Holdings, a global medical technology<br />
provider, has announced the North American and<br />
European launch of OverdenSURE, a new overdenture<br />
attachment system for Zimmer Biomet dental<br />
implants.<br />
The OverdenSURE product portfolio comprises<br />
abutments, restorative components and tooling,<br />
providing customers with everything needed to<br />
upgrade denture-wearing patients to implantretained<br />
overdentures. This new product line features<br />
a zirconium nitride abutment coating for aesthetics<br />
and function, and a wider range of abutment sizes<br />
for increased restorative flexibility — all wrapped in a<br />

With an estimated 10% of the world’s population<br />
being partially edentulous or edentulous, softtissue-supported<br />
dentures continue to be a source<br />
of chronic residual ridge resorption, phonetic<br />
challenges, a loose or poor fit, decreased masticatory<br />
function, or facial collapse in spite of advances in<br />
denture prosthodontics.<br />
