‘Moon over Lighthouse’ image wins photo competition<br />

MichaelMolloy’s image, Moon over<br />

Lighthouse,was judged the overall<br />

champion at the RangioraPhotographic<br />

Society’s first Open competition.<br />

Judged by Penny Nicholls, Molloy’s<br />

image also took out the best in grade title,<br />

and A­grade honours.<br />

AHonda 2.2 kva generator was stolen<br />

from Marsh Road in Rangiora.<br />

ANissan Fuga was stolen fromClayton<br />

Road, Amberley.<br />

ARangiora male was chargedwith<br />

drivingwhile disqualifiedinWoodend.<br />

ASelwyn female was processed for<br />

excessbreathalcohol when stopped in<br />

Oxford.<br />

Atheft was reportedfrom aroadside<br />

honesty box in Domett. The offence was<br />

captured on CCTV and policeare following<br />

astrong line of enquiry.<br />

AChristchurch male was chargedwith<br />

careless driving afteracrash in Lewis Pass<br />

Road.<br />

Friday, <strong>May</strong> 6<br />

Fuel was siphoned from avehicle parked<br />

in Wolffs RoadinEyrewell.<br />

An Amberley residentfell victim to an<br />

onlinefraud where aperson phoned saying<br />

someone had taken moneyfrom their<br />

account and he neededtofix the problem.<br />

The offender was given access to the<br />

victimscomputer where alarge amount of<br />

money was stolen.<br />

Avehicle was stolen from Brockelbank<br />

Drive,Kaiapoi, and found abandonedin<br />

the Pines Beach. ANissan Safari vehicle<br />

parked nearby was then stolen.<br />

Plants from several pots were stolen from<br />

an address at Tutaipatu Avenue in Pegasus.<br />

Avehicle parked at the boat ramp near<br />

Askeaton Park, Kaiapoihad awindow<br />

smashed. Nothingwas stolen from the<br />

vehicle.<br />

Sunday, <strong>May</strong> 8<br />

An Oxford resident reportedseeinga<br />

drone flying near their property in Park<br />

Ave, Oxford.<br />

Two shedsatanaddress in McHughs<br />

Road, Swannanoa, were broken into and<br />

property includingamedieval helmet and<br />

gauntlets (gloves), and chainsaws were<br />

stolen.<br />

Anumber of council parks and buildings<br />

were tagged in Rangiora and Woodend.<br />

AMazda Atenzawas stolen from Smith<br />

StreetinKaiapoi. It was locatedin<br />

Parklands,Christchurch.<br />

An Isuzu Bighorn was stolen from an<br />

addressinPenfoldSquare, Leithfield.<br />

Monday, <strong>May</strong> 9<br />

Alarge quantity of heavy electricalcable<br />

was stolen from aconstruction site at Todds<br />

Road in Rangiora.<br />

Avehicle parkedatWindy Point car park<br />

in the Lewis Pass had awindow smashed<br />

and property stolen.<br />

Alarge number of plants were stolen<br />

from anursery in Leithfield.<br />

ASuzuki Jimneyvehicle was stolen from<br />

Woodend Road.<br />

Police would like to remind people<br />
