What matters is the export…
It is obvious that the chemical industry, which has been growing steadily, will affect the
growth trend of other industries as long as it continues to develop its technologies. Because,
chemistry, which comes to mind first when it comes to exports and is Turkiye’s second largest
exporting sector, has set a new record with its exports of 25.4 billion dollars in 2021. In
other words, the sector’s exports grew by 39% in 2021. Representing more than 8,500 active
exporting companies, İKMİB realized 58.75 percent of Turkiye’s total chemical exports.
Significant savings
The Chemistry Technology Center, which is preparing to start operating this year, will have
the opportunity to have 209 tests and analyzes done with domestic and national steps, with
its ecosystem that will take the industry one step further. Thus, thanks to the giant center, a
significant saving of 12.3 million dollars will be achieved every year. We wish great success to
the Chemistry industry, which has demonstrated its strength in achieving Turkiye’s goals in
this period when global supply chains are interrupted… As Beauty Turkiye magazine team,

Söz konusu ihracat…
Git gide gözle görülür bir büyüme kat eden Kimya sektörü, teknolojilerini geliştirmeye devam
ettiği sürece diğer sektörlerin büyüme trendine de etki edeceği aşikâr. Çünkü, ihracat deyince
akıllara gelen, Türkiye’nin en çok ihracat yapan ikinci sektörü olan kimya, 2021 yılında
gerçekleştirdiği 25,4 milyar dolarlık ihracat ile yeni bir rekora imza atmış biçimde karşımıza
çıktı. Yani, sektörün ihracatı, 2021 yılında %39 oranda büyüdü. 8 bin 500’ün üzerinde aktif
ihracatçı firmayı temsil eden İKMİB, Türkiye’nin toplam kimya ihracatının yüzde 58,75’ini
gerçekleştirdi.
Önemli ölçüde tasarruf
Bu yıl içinde faaliyete girmeye hazırlanan Kimya Teknoloji Merkezi, sektörü ileri bir adıma
taşıyacak ekosistemiyle 209 test ve analizi yerli ve milli adımlarla yaptırma imkanına
kavuşacak. Böylece dev merkez sayesinde, her yıl 12.3 milyon dolarlık önemli ölçüde bir
tasarruf sağlanacak. Global tedarik zincirlerinin sekteye uğradığı bu dönemde, Türkiye’nin
hedeflerine ulaşması doğrultusunda gücünü ortaya koyan Kimya sektörüne ilerlediği yolda
başarılar diliyoruz… Beauty Türkiye dergisi ekibi olarak, “İhracatın Yıldızları”na özel keyifli
