Someone asked me to write a little bit about<br />
myself, but that’s not easy to do in 350 words<br />
-especially when you’re picture-perfect. I know<br />
you’re wondering, but think about it.<br />
I’m likeable. Fun to be with. Pretty and pert.<br />
Intelligent, but not a scholar. I’m gentle and<br />
loving, family oriented yet adventurous, too.<br />
How about age? Not for public consumption!<br />
It comes up on occasion, but a lady never tells<br />
her age, a man never needs to. Sometimes a lady<br />
will fib a bit but that’s okay. A secret is a secret.<br />
How many words is that? 98. Really? 350 is a<br />
lot of words! However, there is so much more to<br />
say about me!<br />
I like to entertain and am proficient at setting a table for six, or twelve. I<br />
can do a mean flower arrangement for the centerpiece, and I know which<br />
fork to use with my salad and dessert.<br />
I enjoy wine with dinner, Merlot is my preference, Pinot Grigio if a<br />
white wine is called for. Crown Royal with a splash of water over ice is an<br />
enjoyable before dinner drink. Après diner, Crème De Menthe is delicious.<br />

Let’s talk about habits: I drink a lot of coffee…not necessarily a<br />
positive, right? Well, I like to read and write. I enjoy going out to dinner,<br />
but I’m a good cook.<br />
My mother’s advice regarding cooking was, “Never feed anyone until<br />
they are starving.” Works for me!<br />
243 words. Okay, we’re getting there! Let’s<br />
discuss background. I was an only child,<br />
extremely clever. As a teenager I was very<br />
popular.<br />
I had the most boyfriends, the envy of all my<br />
friends. I sailed through college with high marks<br />
and became a schoolteacher...loved by all!<br />
I write children’s books, and articles for<br />
magazines. They are great! Married - I was a<br />
wonderful wife with a dashing husband and<br />
delightful children. How many words now? 318.<br />
I suppose it’s time to get down to the bare bones. You’ll have to<br />
admit I’m really charming, but I do have one teeny, tiny hidden flaw.<br />
Unfortunately, I lie—brilliantly!<br />
