New appointment for Launch Tech UK<br />

Diagnostics specialists, Launch Tech UK, has announced the appointment of<br />

Mike Carter as Technical Manager to help the company deliver key product<br />

support and technical training.<br />

As the new Technical Manager, Carter’s<br />

role will involve providing technical<br />

support and demonstrations to<br />

customers, sales support and producing<br />

content for YouTube as Launch Tech UK<br />

continues to develop its digital strategy.<br />

Carter’s previous experience lies in<br />

operations and training management<br />

positions within the automotive industry.<br />

Carter comments, “I’m looking forward<br />

to being part of the Launch Tech UK team<br />

to offer guidance on the latest Launch<br />

products and assist in pushing the brand<br />

forward digitally.”<br />

Dave Richards, Managing Director at<br />

Launch Tech UK said: “We pride ourselves<br />

on offering dedicated technical support to<br />

provide our customers with experts at the<br />

end of the phone. We are delighted to have<br />

secured Mike for this position to ensure we<br />

can continue to deliver excellent customer<br />

service and tech support – and we believe<br />

his previous experiences and skills will also<br />

help bring fresh ideas to the team.”<br />

Diagnostics brand promotes within to<br />

continue growth strategy<br />

Launch Tech UK has promoted Richard Collyer to the role of National Sales<br />

Manager as the diagnostics company continues its successful growth strategy.<br />

Collyer has been with Launch Tech UK for a<br />

number of years, demonstrating, marketing<br />

and selling the brand’s leading diagnostic<br />

tools, as well as growing the chemical side<br />

of the business.<br />

In his new role, Richard will be overseeing<br />

the growth of Launch Tech UK, working<br />

with motor factors and trading groups to<br />

ensure the brand best supports them.<br />

Collyer comments: “I’m pleased to start<br />

my new position to help garages and motor<br />

factors with diagnostic tools and products<br />

that support a modern aftermarket. Access<br />

to data and real time support is key for<br />

workshops, and something we are very<br />

passionate about at Launch Tech UK.”<br />

Richard will continue to work alongside<br />

the rest of the Launch Tech UK team, to<br />

bring new and exciting products to the<br />

market. <strong>The</strong> next product will be ADAS<br />

Mobile, a new launch that fills a gap in the<br />

market for ADAS calibration tools that<br />

ensure ultimate driver and passenger<br />

safety.<br />

Adam Hilton appointed Sales & Marketing Director at<br />

Tecalemit <strong>Garage</strong> Equipment<br />

Tecalemit <strong>Garage</strong> Equipment has announced that Adam Hilton has joined the<br />

company as Sales & Marketing Director.<br />

Adam will be heading up Tecalemit’s<br />

commercial operations and brings a wealth<br />

of industry experience from his time in<br />

the motor trade, most recently as the UK<br />

Sales Manager of GSF Car Parts’ garage<br />

equipment division.<br />

Outside of work, Adam has also gained<br />

a strong reputation as a fundraiser. In<br />

December last year, he participated in 3<br />

and won 3 of his bouts at a charity UWCB<br />

boxing event for Cancer Research UK.<br />

Adam raised in excess of £3,000 and is<br />

currently planning a skydive for Macmillan<br />

Cancer Support at the end of August.<br />

Tecalemit is going through a period<br />

of expansion, and Adam is just the latest<br />

in a series of new appointments across<br />

the company. Speaking about the latest<br />

announcement, James Devonport,<br />

Tecalemit’s Managing Director, said, “I am<br />

pleased Adam has now joined the team<br />

here at Tecalemit. I know he will bring<br />

unique skills to enhance the company’s<br />

commercial operations, and both myself<br />

and team are looking forward to working<br />
