2023<br />
It’s great news to announce that Neil,<br />
Gerrard, and the Winch Systems team from<br />
Humberside will be returning to the TIC again<br />
for the 2023 show. They will be joined in Hall 1 by<br />
new exhibitor Merridale, and we look forward to<br />
welcoming Paul Russell and his colleagues from<br />
Merridale who will be making their Tow Show<br />
debut.<br />
Gerrard Yates, Head of Business Development<br />
at Winch Systems commented; “This year sees<br />
our 25th birthday, so we may have cake at<br />
our stand… It will not be shaped like a winch,<br />
because we don’t want anyone getting mixed<br />
up and a) eating our winches or b) breaking their<br />
teeth”.<br />
It’s great to see the old faces along with<br />
the new. Whether it’s a customer, competitor,<br />
supplier, service provider; it’s always good to<br />
catch up.<br />
It’s great to see our customers. In the Tow<br />
Show scenario, in comparison to a busy working<br />
day, where there isn’t a ‘point’ or ‘reason’ for<br />
communication, it’s nice to talk to existing<br />
customers, see our winches on their vehicles and<br />
understand more physically what they do and<br />
how they utilise our products. It’s natural rapport<br />
building too.<br />
It’s great to listen. We’re the first to admit that<br />
every day is a school day! Talking with visitors and<br />
exhibitors is always a learning curve.<br />
