WHAT OUR REVIEWER HAD TO SAY
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hasan Uzun, a
talented hairdresser at Inanch London who specialises
in balayage. Hasan took me on a journey from
my natural brown hair with an abundance of grey
sparkle at the roots and mid-lengths to a stunning
salt-and-pepper grey all over. From start to finish, the
experience was incredible, and I am getting loads of
compliments on the result.
Hasan talked me through the entire process, including
the pros and cons of going for such a drastic colour
change. He explained that while grey hair can be
incredibly striking and fashionable, it’s essential to
be aware that the tips may stay blonde and not lighten
to platinum, so when toned to grey one must keep
on top of any brassiness that may show. Also, it is
important to note that the colour may not take as well
to previously coloured or damaged hair.
However, Hasan was quick to reassure me that he had
plenty of tips and tricks up his sleeve to ensure my
hair stayed as healthy as possible and wouldn’t break
although it would obviously become drier and slightly
thinner in strand thickness.
Throughout the process, Hasan was a delight to
talk to and he explained every step of the journey
carefully. He was careful to check my hair’s condition
regularly and ensured that it remained healthy and
shiny throughout, emphasising to only bleach it once
and to never overbleach it. Hasan also made sure to
take the
time to
explain
how to
care for my
new colour
properly such
as using purple
and blue shampoos,
conditioners, and masks
to prolong the colour’s life and
keep any brassiness at bay.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience
with Hasan. His expertise, friendly manner, and
attention to detail made the whole process a breeze.
My hair will need toning regularly at home or in
a salon, so Greyvolution isn’t for those who want
minimal fuss. I was however aware this was still
transitional for me and has definitely bridged the gap
between long grey roots and going completely grey
without having to wait.
If you’re looking for a talented hairdresser who will
take the time to ensure that you end up with the
perfect colour, I couldn’t recommend Hasan Uzun at
Inanch London more highly.
