from now on. Aartsen is an
internationally operating
company with partners
all over the world. English
is the most appropriate
language, in other words:
Tailor Made. This may
sound and read like a
grower from Made
(Dutch village near Breda)
to a Dutch person. But to
prevent confusion and
to create a Tailor Made
magazine, English is the
language we will use.

THIALAND
The yearly Asia Fruit Logistica fruit and vegetable
trade fair was the perfect opportunity to visit
Namdhari in Thailand. So Niels and Menno went
to Bangkok to meet up with the representatives
of Namdhari.
Namdhari carries all kinds of exotic products. Think of delicious fruits like apples,
mango stone, pomelo, papaya, guava, dragon fruit, rambutan, and sweet tamarind,
to name a few. Besides fruit, they are also known for chilli, eggplant, asparagus,
baby corn, lemongrass and young coconuts. For the past years, Aartsen has noticed
a high demand in the Benelux for these products. It’s also an excellent opportunity
for Aartsen Asia to expand within southeastern countries and keep evolving with
our brand Yami to ensure that all these top-tier fruits and vegetables are distributed
weekly amongst the Benelux and Asia with proper certification.
After a 2-hour drive from Bangkok, Niels and Menno arrived at a massive warehouse
in an area where young Thai coconuts grow exceptionally well. Thai coconuts are
well-loved among connoisseurs as they are known for their highly concentrated
sweetness. "After tasting a freshly cut coconut, we couldn’t agree more".
"After an extensive tour, we further finalized our collaboration with Gursev and Mark
to join forces and laid the foundation for further development in our partnership".
For Niels and Menno, their visit was highly educational, and they can only conclude
that the potential is enormous in the beautiful world of exotics.
