for a stronger you
South Yorkshire residents can now access free
emotional wellness support through an innovative
new app launched by NHS South Yorkshire.
Teladoc myStrength is an interactive
and personalised support tool that
provides instant and accessible
emotional wellbeing support 24 hours
a day, 365 days a year.
As well as sign posting people to
crisis helplines, myStrength has a
range of wellness resources and selfhelp
guides to assist you with coping
skills, relaxation techniques, or even
just hope whenever you need it.
Most activities are generally
less than three minutes in length
and cover a range of topics such
as managing stress and worry,
improving sleep, pregnancy and early
parenting, managing chronic pain,
and mindfulness and meditation.
Whether you have a short amount of
time available or you want to delve
more deeply into the root cause of
some of the things you’re struggling
with, the app can help make real
lasting changes.
NHS South Yorshire has worked
with Consultant Connect, part
of the global Teladoc Group, to
commission the new free service.
The app’s wellness programme
derives from evidenced-based
models of psychological therapy and
its dedicated resources have been
