celebration!
WE HAVE SO MUCH to celebrate at
<strong>Focus</strong> on the Family Canada and I’m pleased
to share some big news with you!
First of all, we are celebrating 40 years of
helping families thrive in Canada! In 1983,
<strong>Focus</strong> on the Family Canada began in a oneroom
office in Vancouver, BC, with only one
part-time employee. Now we are a wellestablished
national organization with over
70 staff stretching from Vancouver Island all
the way to the Maritimes. It is our honour to
strengthen families at every stage of life by
providing resources and support based on
Christian principles.
Th e <strong>Focus</strong> on the Family Broadcast has been around since the
beginning. Our website <strong>Focus</strong>OnTheFamily.ca is filled with original
Canadian articles, PDF downloads, video series and more. Unique to
Canada, we serve francophone families with our <strong>Focus</strong> Famille ministry
(<strong>Focus</strong>Famille.ca) and help parents with our free Kids of Integrity lessons
(KidsOfIntegrity.com). Turn to page 36 to learn more about how we’re
here for families like yours!
We are excited to continue growing and expanding our ministry to families
in the years to come—which brings me to my second piece of big news.
As of March 1, 2023, <strong>Focus</strong> on the Family Canada officially has a retreat
centre in Ontario! It has long been our dream to bring the successful Hope
Restored marriage intensives, as well as our Kerith Ministry Leaders
Retreats, to Ontario and Eastern Canada. For many years we have held these
programs at our centres in Alberta (Kerith Creek) and Manitoba (Kerith
Pines) and it is my privilege to say we can now add Kerith Waters in Ontario
to that list! (Read more about this exciting development on the next page!)
I hope you can sense our excitement about celebrating this significant
milestone and expanding our reach to bring help and hope to even more
families in Canada. It is my honour to serve in this ministry and support
