AQUATIC CENTRE<br />
We’re celebrating 10 years as one of <strong>Selwyn</strong>’s<br />
most popular facilities.<br />
Thank you to all of you who’ve made over 3 million visits to the centre since we opened.<br />
When we started we had 1,400 kids signed up for the swim school before we even opened.<br />
Today, we have 3,300 kids a term in the learn to swim programme and over 10,000 visits a year<br />
to take part in our different aquafit classes.<br />
The centre has been used for Canterbury Swim Meets and by sports clubs and teams,<br />
physiotherapists and their clients, Burwood Hospital patients and disability groups.<br />
You’ve had a lot of fun over the years at discos, pool parties, on the inflatables and at kids<br />
sensory times.<br />
And there’s heaps more to come. Join our aquafit classes, splash out at the Pool Spectacular or<br />
Youth Pool Party in July, or just enjoy a swim.<br />
