to or reading stuff about
economics was unnecessary.
However, some of the economic
scars we live with daily have
forced us to learn the hard
way – whether we follow
Economics or not! Your life is
influenced mostly by what gets
into your brain through your
eyes, your ears and your mind.
Remembers, G.I.G.O.? ‘Garbage
in, garbage out’. To illustrate this
sufficiently, I used to refer to a
term: Q.I.Q.O. which is ‘Quality in,
quality out’. I guess comparing
‘garbage in, garbage out’ and
‘quality in, quality out’ makes
the point being made here
clear enough. Fill your brain
with quality physical food and
quality mental food and see
your idea gain new life!

I decided to add the skills of
MCing, motivational speaking
and seminar speaking. In
the beginning, my speaking
involved motivating my peers,
teaching in a school and
helping out students preparing
for O’Level GCE examinations,
master-of-ceremonies and
disc-jockeying. As the years
went by, after several ‘free
shows’, people began to pay
me for speaking at seminars,
writing, proof-reading and
editing books and magazines,
and photography. So, I made
some progress with ‘T’ and
‘S’. I never gave up on adding
the ‘E’, (formal) education and
it eventually came. Oh yes... I
have benefitted much from
it. But, most of what people
could term achievements in
my life came through intense
‘T’ and ‘S’ of several years. That
I worked and rose through the
ranks to management level in
some reputable companies in
the country may be discussed
in details someday. So, raise
your T.S.E. to new heights!
