Logbo Snail shells, especially after they have been properly ground into powder, have been used in traditional medicine for various health benefits. In Traditional Medicine, snail shells are not considered as waste. In fact, it is true that nothing in nature is a waste. It only inadequate knowledge of a natural substance could make one consider it a waste. Here are a few medicinal uses of giant snail shells: Calcium and Minerals: Snail shells are primarily composed of calcium carbonate, which is a rich source of calcium. Calcium is essential for maintaining strong bones and teeth, aiding in muscle function, and supporting nerve transmission. If you choose to consume snail shells for calcium, make sure that you include other nutrients that aid calcium absorption. It also promotes healthier complexion. Collagen Production: Some researchers claim that snail shell extracts or components may stimulate collagen production in the skin. Collagen is a protein that supports skin elasticity and can help to reduce signs of aging. You can also mix snail shell powder with raw honey to scrub your body for better glow. Traditional Medicine Remedies: In some traditional medicine practices, snail shell powder or extracts are used to alleviate conditions such as stomach ulcers, arthritis, and joint pain.
