&MBU is looking for members to help come
up with fresh ideas to bring new members to
NIRMA, as well as ideas of how to share
everyone’s expertise with the membership. M&MBU
meets the first Wednesday of every month for one
hour at 12 p.m. CT. Please join us.

Membership Via social media!
Growing membership
is a crucial focus to
NIRMA. One of the best
ways to reach new
potential members is via
social media. NIRMA is
currently on four social
media platforms and has
its own YouTube
channel. Here are each
of the platforms along with the current number of
followers:
• Facebook - 656 followers
• X (formerly known as Twitter) - 191 followers
• LinkedIn - 136 followers
• Instagram - 25 followers
To improve our reach and performance on social
media, we need your support. If you are not already,
please follow us on one or more of these platforms.
NIRMA posts regularly on these platforms. These
posts include monthly communications, Inside NIRMA
magazine and information on upcoming events like the
annual symposium. Having our members like, reply,
and share NIRMA posts will dramatically increase the
reach of these posts and demonstrate the value we
provide to potential members.
Looking for Nominating
Committee Volunteers!
NIRMA is currently looking for current
members interested in serving on the Nominating
Committee. The Nominating Committee is
responsible for identifying candidates for next
year’s Board of Directors election and will ensure
that all appropriate supporting documents are
received from each candidate.
