vendor exhibitors, business unit participation,
sponsorships, and social media presence.
• Further develop relationships with commercial
entities, government agencies, and industry
organizations such as the NRC, DOE, NEI,
ASME, CMBG, NITSL, and others.
The post-Symposium survey was very positive,
along with great thoughts and ideas for improvement
in the next symposium. Thank you! We ALWAYS
value your feedback and thoughts on what NIRMA
can do better to benefit its membership and to
expand the NIRMA audience.
The reality is that a long-standing organization
such as NIRMA must continue to widen the tent of
NIRMA interests, topics, and exhibitors. It benefits
us all to acknowledge what is coming in the nuclear
power industry and to lean in on what it means for us
in the years ahead. Sometimes it is exciting and
sometimes it is concerning if we are worried where we
fit into the future workforce. Regardless, it is going to
be quite a ride if we look at the future on a positive
note and adapt to change and new technology. It
might even be better. We may look back with a smile
wondering how in the world did we exist with the old
ways and tools that once were.
Janice Hoerber and Bob Larrivee
are concluding their NIRMA
Board of Director terms in 2023
with gratitude and great regard
for NIRMA's mission. All things
must come to an end, and indeed
that time has come. NIRMA
serves the industry once again at
a great time in nuclear power,
just as it did in 1976. Information
will become an asset much like
plant assets, and that is core
business for NIRMA!
