TOP TIPS
for party-ready skin
FEATURE
APPLY A SHEET MASK
A hydrating sheet mask can be the perfect way to
make your skin look party-ready. Not only will it give
your skin that much-needed hydration boost, but it’ll
also leave your complexion glowing and radiant.
USE A JADE ROLLER
Using a jade roller can help reduce puffiness. Use
upward and outward movements to promote
lymphatic drainage. This will help flush toxins and
increase circulation to give your skin a healthy glow.
For puffy-prone eyes, use the smaller end of the
jade roller and work from the inner corners of your
eyes, rolling outwards towards your temples.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER
Hydration is key for achieving party-ready skin, so
don’t skimp on your water intake! Aim to drink at
least 8 glasses of water a day – more if you have a
big event coming up. Drinking water helps to flush
out toxins, improve your skin’s elasticity and prevent
dreaded breakouts. Plus, your skin will look and feel
fresh, plump and moisturised.
DON’T TRY NEW PRODUCTS
THE DAY OF YOUR PARTY
Don’t use new makeup or skincare for the first
time in case of an allergic reaction. While we love
trying a new beauty product with the best of them,
it’s wise to test them out well ahead of your big
event. Allergic reactions are not uncommon when
using new products. To avoid the discomfort and
disappointment of an unexpected rash or breakout,
patch test all your new makeup products at least
48 hours before the party.
