Once the conductor calls “all aboard,”
on the North Pole Express, children and
parents gather in a holiday-decorated train
car. As the train pulls from the station, they
sing along with Christmas Carols. A whimsical
holiday story is told as the train makes
its way to Santa’s house. Lights on the train
begin to dim as bright lights shine at the
North Pole.
When the train stops, Santa and Mrs.
Claus are waiting with waving hands to welcome
the children to the North Pole. Along
with elves, Santa and Mrs. Claus board the
train to visit families and take photos with
every child.
After visiting with Santa, chocolate
drinks and sweet treats are served. Each
child receives a Christmas keepsake. As the
train departs back to the station, families
relax and listen to music. Children can wear
pajamas for the train rides.
This year, five coach cars are available,
and two first class cars, Silver Maple and
Santa Fe, offer extras. On first class cars,
the chocolate drink is served in a souvenir
mug, and children receive a quality keepsake
ornament and a glow stick.
While lower Eagle and upper dome coach
seats are comfortable, the upper level is
covered by a glass planetarium dome with
all the seats facing one direction. Guests
travel by starlight and have a good view of
the North Pole lights. Check the website for
details on each of the cars.
All ticket sales are in advance with sales
beginning in July. The North Pole Express
