Wanna go for a ride?
When it comes to Alanya everyone usually
think of sea & sun.
But there is a lot more to Alanya than just the
beaches.
An alternative activity could be horseback
riding, a very enjoyable and healthy activity.
Horseback riding is an activity that people of
all ages can do.
It is a good choice to make your children love
animals and experience nature at the same
time.
Horse Club horse farm in Demirtaş offers
you a wonderful experience in this regard.
They have a great 3-hour tour, which passes
through local villages, forest areas and the
ancient Syedra fortress.
Some of the other horse farms in Alanya are
the Carpe Diem horse farm located in the village
of Oba, Çelikkıran horse farm in Çubuk,
and the Alara horse farm in Okurcalar.
If you decide to go to a horse farm, be sure to
send us a photo of you and your new horsefriend.
We hope you have a pleasant ride.
At many mosques you will see that free food
is distributed every evening and people gather
to eat right after sunset.
When the month of ramadan ends there is a
big celebration called Eid al-Fitr or the Sugar
feast.
This takes place between April 21st and April
23rd with the tradition to hand out sweets and
pocket money to all children.
The children will knock on their neighbors’
doors, and the neighbors will then give sweets
or pocket money to the children.
During the month of Ramadan and Eid-al-Fitr,
many cultural events are usually organised by
the municipalities all over Turkey.
Everyone are welcome to these events, no
matter what religion you belong to.
We wish you all a happy Ramadan and
Eid al-Fitr.
