their utmost comfort and support during physical activities. The Sports Bra<br />
Drive for girl athletes is about more than just clothing; it’s about empowerment<br />

Get into the groove of colourful or shaved heads and join Gold Reef<br />
15 City’s Cansa Shavathon on <strong>Mar</strong>ch 15 and 16 in solidarity with cancer<br />
survivors. Gold Reef City Casino, Theme Park and Hotel guests can support this<br />
amazing initiative by shaving or spraying their hair, or just donating, R50 for<br />
adults and R25 for children under 12 years. Members of the public can participate<br />
in the event at the casino entrance on <strong>Mar</strong>ch 15 and at Theme Park Town<br />
Square on <strong>Mar</strong>ch 16 from 10am to 5pm daily.<br />

With this charity event, the public is<br />
encouraged to come together with<br />
a potjiekos competition, where 250<br />
pots will be made, and of course, the<br />
crocheting of scarfs to be gifted to<br />
the community. After previous successes<br />
in breaking two world records,<br />
this year aims for four new world<br />
records: The longest hand-crocheted<br />
shawl, the most bredies in one place,<br />
breaking the most loaves of bread<br />
in one place and to butter the most<br />
loaves of bread in one place. Thousands<br />
of people will also be fed for<br />
charity. A highlight of the day’s programme<br />
is the production that will be<br />
presented in the evening with some<br />
of the country’s biggest artists like Ruhan<br />
du Toit, Refentse, Jo Black, Tarryn<br />
Lamb, Riaan Benade, and Samantha<br />
