Windows Basics (Windows XP)

This is as basic as it gets! Learn about personal computers,
networks, and the operating system. If you always wanted
to know when to left click verses right click, this class is for
you.

Have you ever wondered where that document went that you
just created? Have you ever had problems finding a document
that you created last week or yesterday? This class answers
these questions. Use the Windows Explorer to create new
folders and organize your work. Prerequisite: Word Level I
or experience in any Microsoft application.

Join the electronic age stress free! Overcome your fears and
frustration to discover the useful and efficient side of computers.
Gain a fundamental understanding of computer hardware, the
operating system, word processing, the Internet, and e-mail
in this beginning computer class. Class will be limited to 12
students for lots of hands-on assistance from the instructor.

about the fascinating world of computers. If you are looking
for a great beginning computer class and are 62 or older, this
class is for you. Class will be limited to 12 students for lots
of hands-on assistance from the instructor. Fee listed reflects
a discounted rate. Topics will include:
• Getting started
• Operating systems - getting around on your desktop
• Word Processing - toolbars, formatting, inserting graphics
• Internet & e-mail - if class time allows
