How to Register<br />

Registration Information<br />

We <strong>of</strong>fer five EASY ways to register for non-credit classes.<br />

By Mail:<br />

Mail your completed registration form with a check<br />

(payable to FVCC) or credit card information to:<br />

Phone registration is easy. Use your VISA, MasterCard,<br />

or American Express. We can bill your employer with<br />

authorization from a company <strong>of</strong>ficial.<br />

Fax your registration form with credit card information<br />

and cardholder’s signature.<br />

Walk In: FVCC Campus<br />

Visit the Continuing Education Center located in the<br />

Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC Campus.<br />

The Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday<br />

through Friday (closed on Saturday & Sunday).<br />

Extended hours for the first three weeks <strong>of</strong> the fall<br />

and spring semesters are from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday<br />

through Thursday.<br />

General Information<br />

• Satisfaction Guaranteed – If the class you take does<br />

not meet your objectives, please notify the Continuing<br />

Education Center.<br />

• Adults, age 62 or older, can receive a $5 discount on any<br />

non-credit class fee <strong>of</strong> $20 or more.<br />

• Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities<br />

can be arranged in advance by calling the Continuing<br />

Education Center.<br />

• Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) are available for<br />

business workshops and training.<br />

Fee Information<br />

Participants need to enroll and pay fees for classes and<br />

workshops prior to the first class, with the exception <strong>of</strong> free<br />

lectures. A $5 service charge and lab fees (if indicated) are<br />

included in the total fee listed with each course description.<br />

Instructional costs for Continuing Education programs are<br />

covered by participant fees.<br />

Refund Policy<br />

When the <strong>College</strong> cancels a class or workshop, a full refund is<br />

issued. Payments made by cash or check will be refunded to<br />

you - please allow 3-4 weeks for processing. Payments made<br />

by credit card will have a credit applied to your card.<br />

If you are unable to attend a Continuing Education class<br />

or workshop for which you have registered, please call the<br />

Continuing Education Center to <strong>of</strong>ficially withdraw.<br />

Refund <strong>Schedule</strong><br />

Multiple Session Programs<br />

• More than three business days before first class - 100%<br />

refund<br />

• Less than three business days and before the second class<br />

session - 75% refund<br />

• After second class session - no refund<br />

One Session Programs<br />

• More than three business days before session - 100%<br />

refund<br />

• One-three business days before session - 75% refund<br />

• No refund is issued for withdrawal the day <strong>of</strong> the program.<br />

You may send a colleague in your place.<br />

Special Programs<br />

Due to requirements for early commitments <strong>of</strong> funds or<br />

other special circumstances, some programs have specific<br />

refund procedures. These will be noted within the class<br />

description.<br />
