CALL FOR ENTRIES “LOGO CONTEST”
The Tybee Arts Association, a 501©(3) tax
exempt organization, seeks submissions for
an association “LOGO”.
DEADLINE for Submission:
Postmarked no Later than September 30, 2006

Responders must submit using
the following criteria:
1. The logo should be sized to fit a 12"x 12" foam
core or heavy poster board backing.
2. The image should be submitted mounted on a
12"x12" foam core or heavy poster board.
3. Submissions may be hand drawn or computer
created.
4. If created on computer, please submit a JPG
burned on CD with at least a resolution of 300.
Other Items to keep in mind:
1. Logo must translate from color to black and white
if needed.
2. Logo will be used on media as small as business
cards and letterhead to as large as a billboard.
3. The Logo should incorporate all, or as many of,
the association’s purposes as noted:
Tybee Breeze
The association was established to develop and
sustain interest, appreciation, enjoyment of the Arts
in Chatham County, Georgia, including but not
limited to two and three dimensional visual arts,
music, drama, dance, design, architecture, film,
creative play and culinary arts.
Selection Process & Awards:
Received submissions will be reviewed and judged
by a selection panel appointed by the President of
the Tybee Arts Association. The Recommendations
of this panel will be presented to the Tybee Arts
Association Board for acceptance at the regularly
scheduled Board Meeting on Tuesday, October 9,
2006. If there is a winner, it will be announced on
Saturday, October 21, 2006 during the 10 th Festival
of the Arts to be held at the Pavilion. The winner will
be notified as to time and place.
The creator of the preferred Logo
submission will be contacted following that date and
awarded the following:
-Dinner at “George’s” of Tybee
1105 E. HWY 80
Tybee Island, GA
Valued at $100.00
-Limousine Service for three (3) hours (to be
coordinated between the winner and the Limousine
service vendor)
- Lodging for One (1) night at
The Atlantis Inn
20 Silver Avenue & Butler Avenue
Tybee Island, GA
(To be coordinated between the winner and the Inn)
- Two (2) Tickets and Back Stage passes for the
performance of choice presented by the Tybee Arts
Performing Society (TAPS)
Note that all submissions become the property of
the Tybee Arts Association upon receipt. The Tybee
Arts Association will solely own the selected logo
and the creator of the submission relinquishes all
future rights regarding the logo and its usage.
If a responder would like to have his/her submission
returned after the contest, please include a self
addressed stamped envelope. The winner’s
submission will NOT be returned.
