Once again <strong>Féile</strong> takes to the lawn of the Belfast City Hall in<br />

what is becoming a great platform for some of the f<strong>an</strong>tastic<br />

emerging young b<strong>an</strong>ds <strong>an</strong>d more established groups,<br />

including Midnight Tr<strong>an</strong>smission (who previously<br />

supported The Str<strong>an</strong>glers) Kings Frontier, Castro, Mr<br />

Underground <strong>an</strong>d soloist Ciara McIntyre. M<strong>an</strong>y of these<br />

young artists recently participated in <strong>Féile</strong>’s pilot ‘The Mill<br />

Unplugged’ during Draíocht, Children <strong>an</strong>d Young People’s<br />

Festival in March. This year’s free concert complements<br />

<strong>an</strong>d supports Belfast Pride Festival.<br />

Comp<strong>an</strong>y. Perform<strong>an</strong>ces will r<strong>an</strong>domly be splattered<br />

across West Belfast during <strong>Féile</strong> week so please be aware<br />

participating in youth street theatre training, leading up to<br />

<strong>Féile</strong> <strong>an</strong> <strong>Phobail</strong> in partnership with Bombardier are offering up to 30 young people aged 12-16<br />

years old, this unique opportunity to participate in our new High Flyers Summer Programme. This<br />

programme will explore the theme of ‘flight’ <strong>an</strong>d involve educational trips to W5, Cultra <strong>an</strong>d the<br />

Ulster Aviation Society; engage in kite-making workshops <strong>an</strong>d learn about harnessing the wind;<br />

get their h<strong>an</strong>ds dirty in volunteering with the Ulster Wildlife Trust, as well as have a flight in one of<br />

the world’s most eco-friendly pl<strong>an</strong>es!! FREE PROGRAMME, but spaces limited, so booking<br />
