We start with a local departure by
coach for our journey south to
Woolacombe. Here accommodation
has been reserved for 2 nights on a
dinner, bed and breakfast basis at
the Royal Hotel. This is situated
overlooking the beautiful village and
bay. The beach at Woolacombe is
over 3 miles long and is regarded as
one of the finest in the UK. All rooms
have private facilities, colour TV and
tea / coffee making facilities. Hotel
features include an indoor swimming
pool, snooker, pool and table tennis,
(some facilities chargeable).
During your stay we have included
this great excursion:
• A visit to the twin resorts of
Lynton and Lynmouth. In the
afternoon we move on to Dunster
with its 17 th century market,
watermill and castle. Return
across Exmoor.
On day 3, after breakfast, there is a
chance to pick up a bargain as we
visit the Atlantic Village Shopping

journey home, arriving back later on.

Join us on this thrilling break taking
in the world famous Grand National
at Aintree.
We start with a local departure by
coach for our journey directly to the
racecourse. Here we have included
admission to the Tattersalls
enclosure. This is the largest and
most atmospheric area at Aintree.
It has these great features:
• The Aintree Pavilion – a vast
covered area with plenty of bars,
live music and betting, plus racing
on the big screens
• The Aintree Mound. Here you
can take your place to view the
final fences of the races
• The Parade Ring and Winner’s
enclosure. Here you can view
the horses and jockeys before
and after the races
• Access to an array of bars
including the new Parade Ring
Bar and Pre-Parade Ring Bar as
well as the legendary Irish Bar
The highlight of the day is the world’s
greatest steeplechase – the Grand
National. Each of the famous fences
evokes memories – Beechers Brook,
Valentines and the Chair, to name
but a few. An estimated 600 million
people will be watching the race on
television around the world.
After the racing we take you to our
hotel where rooms have been
booked with private facilities. Dinner
is included tonight.
On day two, after breakfast, we take
you to Roman Chester. Don’t miss
the famous Rows. In the early
afternoon we commence our return
journey home, arriving back later on.
