The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg<br />

has a fairytale quality. It nestles on<br />

the borders of France, Germany and<br />

Belgium and is renowned for its<br />

glorious scenery and woodland.<br />

We start with a local departure for our<br />

journey via the cross Channel ferry or<br />

Eurotunnel to the continent. From<br />

here we make our way to<br />

Luxembourg city and our hotel – the<br />

Novotel Luxembourg Kirchberg. This<br />

is located on the Kirchberg plateau,<br />

close to the European Union. The<br />

rooms are luxuriously appointed and<br />

features include a bar and restaurant.<br />

On day 2 we drop you off at a central<br />

point in Luxembourg city. The day is<br />

at leisure to explore. There are city<br />

walls, fortifications and the cathedral.<br />

Echternach<br />

On day 3 we visit charming Vianden<br />

and travel through ‘little Switzerland’<br />

to Echternach. Afterwards we drive<br />

along the Moselle Valley to Remich,<br />

before making our way back to the<br />

hotel.<br />

On day 4 we have a journey to<br />

Germany’s oldest town – Trier where<br />

you can enjoy a stroll through the<br />

historic old centre.<br />

On day 5 we make our way home<br />

cigarette warehouse in Adinkerke,<br />

where you can pick up a bargain or<br />
