Your Holiday Hotels
All hotels used are of good quality.
They have relaxing bars or lounges,
comfortable en suite bedrooms and
welcoming restaurants where meals
will be served in accordance with
your itinerary.
In Opatija we stay in a carefully
chosen 3* hotel. Overnight
‘stopover’ hotels are city style or
family run.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 - You will leave your chosen
departure point early morning for the
Channel crossing to the continent.
We continue to France or Belgium
for an overnight stay on a bed and
breakfast basis.
Day 2 - Continue south to Austria for
an overnight stay on a dinner, bed
and breakfast basis.

Day 3 - Continue onwards to Opatija.
Here we have 7 nights dinner, bed
and breakfast accommodation at a
carefully chosen hotel
Days 4-9 - During your stay at
Opatija we have included these
excursions:
• Rovinj and Porec. An excursion
visiting the historic town of Rovinj
– one of the prettiest in Europe.
Enjoy the scenic panorama of the
marina and old town, together
with Katerina Island. Then it is
on to charming Porec where you
can watch the boats come and go
and take a stroll through the
quaint old quarter.
• Ljubljana. A visit to the delightful
capital of Slovenia with its
Mediaeval heritage and baroque
old town.
• Postojna caves and Lipica stud
farm. An excursion visiting the
breathtaking Postojna caves with
their incredible grottoes of
stalactites and stalagmites and
Lipica stud farm where the
famous white Lipizzaner horses
are bred.
Opatija
As well you can join the following
great optional excursion:
• Boat trip from Punat, (Krk Island),
to Plavnik and the Island of Cres
and return to Krk Island.
Full details of price etc for the
optional excursion will be sent to
you prior to departure. All trips must
be booked in the UK.
Day 10 - Bid a fond farewell to
Opatija and travel to northern Italy for
an overnight dinner, bed and
breakfast stay.
Day 11 - Continue to northern France
for an overnight bed and breakfast
stay.
Day 12 - Continue our journey back,
arriving home later on.
