Bath & Longleat
We start with a local departure for
our leisurely journey to Bath. There
will be time to explore and enjoy his
beautiful Georgian city. Don’t miss
the Roman baths; Bath abbey and
Sally Lunn’s Refreshment House –
the oldest house in Bath. As well
there is the Jane Austen Centre –
celebrating Bath’s most famous
resident. In the late afternoon we rejoin
our coach and travel to our hotel
where accommodation has been
reserved for the night in rooms all
with private facilities. Dinner is
included tonight.
Longleat House
On day two, after breakfast, we make
our way to Longleat and start the trip
with a journey through the renowned
Safari Park. Afterwards you can view
one of the most beautiful stately
houses in Britain – home to the 7 th
Marquess of Bath. Afterwards you
can view the magnificent gardens
created by Capability Brown. We
depart during the afternoon for our
journey home.

Buckingham Palace
Thames Cruise & visit to
Clarence House
Enjoy a capital break. We start with
a local departure for our journey
directly to London. On arrival we
head for Waterloo Pier for our
included Thames Spectacular
Cruise. Encompassing London’s
best-loved sights, the tour provides
an insight into the many layers of
history that have built up along the
river. The elegant dome of St Paul’s
Cathedral - and perhaps London’s
most precious antique - the Tower of
London. Afterwards there will be
some free time before we make our
way to our hotel. We use a selection
of 4* Central London hotels and all
rooms will be with private facilities.
The evening is at leisure.
On day 2, after a full English
breakfast, we make our way to
Buckingham Palace. This serves as
both the office and London residence
of Her Majesty the Queen. The State
Rooms are the heart of the working
Palace and are lavishly furnished
with some of the greatest treasures
Buckingham Palace
from the Royal Collection – paintings
by Rembrandt and Rubens;
sculpture by Canova; exquisite
pieces of Sevres porcelain; and
some of the finest English and
French furniture in the world.
Following the visit to Buckingham
Palace we take you to Clarence
House – which stands beside
St James’ Palace and is the London
residence of the Prince of Wales and
the Duchess of Cornwall and of
Princes William and Harry. It was
the London home of Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother
for almost 50 years. Here you can
see for yourself the 5 rooms on the
ground floor where official
engagements are undertaken and
important guests received by the
Prince of Wales.
In the late afternoon we commence
our journey home arriving back later
on.
