Bath & Longleat<br />
We start with a local departure for<br />
our leisurely journey to Bath. There<br />
will be time to explore and enjoy his<br />
beautiful Georgian city. Don’t miss<br />
the Roman baths; Bath abbey and<br />
Sally Lunn’s Refreshment House –<br />
the oldest house in Bath. As well<br />
there is the Jane Austen Centre –<br />
celebrating Bath’s most famous<br />
resident. In the late afternoon we rejoin<br />
our coach and travel to our hotel<br />
where accommodation has been<br />
reserved for the night in rooms all<br />
with private facilities. Dinner is<br />
included tonight.<br />
Longleat House<br />
On day two, after breakfast, we make<br />
our way to Longleat and start the trip<br />
with a journey through the renowned<br />
Safari Park. Afterwards you can view<br />
one of the most beautiful stately<br />
houses in Britain – home to the 7 th<br />
Marquess of Bath. Afterwards you<br />
can view the magnificent gardens<br />
created by Capability Brown. We<br />
depart during the afternoon for our<br />
journey home.<br />

Buckingham Palace<br />
Thames Cruise & visit to<br />
Clarence House<br />
Enjoy a capital break. We start with<br />
a local departure for our journey<br />
directly to London. On arrival we<br />
head for Waterloo Pier for our<br />
included Thames Spectacular<br />
Cruise. Encompassing London’s<br />
best-loved sights, the tour provides<br />
an insight into the many layers of<br />
history that have built up along the<br />
river. The elegant dome of St Paul’s<br />
Cathedral - and perhaps London’s<br />
most precious antique - the <strong>To</strong>wer of<br />
London. Afterwards there will be<br />
some free time before we make our<br />
way to our hotel. We use a selection<br />
of 4* Central London hotels and all<br />
rooms will be with private facilities.<br />
The evening is at leisure.<br />
On day 2, after a full English<br />
breakfast, we make our way to<br />
Buckingham Palace. This serves as<br />
both the office and London residence<br />
of Her Majesty the Queen. The State<br />
Rooms are the heart of the working<br />
Palace and are lavishly furnished<br />
with some of the greatest treasures<br />

by Rembrandt and Rubens;<br />
sculpture by Canova; exquisite<br />
pieces of Sevres porcelain; and<br />
some of the finest English and<br />
French furniture in the world.<br />
Following the visit to Buckingham<br />
Palace we take you to Clarence<br />
House – which stands beside<br />
St James’ Palace and is the London<br />
residence of the Prince of Wales and<br />
the Duchess of Cornwall and of<br />
Princes William and <strong>Harry</strong>. It was<br />
the London home of Her Majesty<br />
Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother<br />
for almost 50 years. Here you can<br />
see for yourself the 5 rooms on the<br />
ground floor where official<br />
engagements are undertaken and<br />
important guests received by the<br />
Prince of Wales.<br />
In the late afternoon we commence<br />
our journey home arriving back later<br />
