Experience Menton’s fantastic
annual citrus spectacular with its
colourful pageants exhibitions made
entirely of lemons, limes and
oranges. Plus enjoy a trip to the
Nice Carnival where the city really
comes alive with flower parades and
floral processions. To round things
off we have a stay at a lovely Italian
seaside resort of Diano Marina.
We start with a local departure for
our journey to our overnight stopover
in France. From here we make our
way to the Italian Riviera of Flowers
and our resort - Diano Marina. Here
accommodation has been reserved
at a good class, (3*), hotel in rooms
all with private facilities. Hotel
features include a bar and
restaurant.
There will be a day at leisure to relax
and enjoy the facilities of the town.
See the old fishing harbour or just
wander along the palm fringed
promenade of this delightful resort.

resort – a stone’s throw from the
French Riviera. The floral
architecture and pine lined
boulevards stretch along the sea
front. See the fascinating old
quarter of steep streets, covered

• Nice Carnival parade, (Saturday).
Drive to Nice to enjoy the
afternoon carnival with dozens of
brightly coloured and decorated
floats parading along the
Promenade des Anglais where
you have a seat to watch all the
festivities
• Menton Lemon Festival parade,
(Sunday). Join in all the fun of the
Lemon Festival, visit the great
sculptures in the Bioves Gardens
and take a grand stand seat on
the promenade for the float
procession

Prague - City of 100 Spires

Prague boasts a stunning skyline with
magnificent views of the River Vltava
and its famous Charles Bridge. There
are Mediaeval cobbled streets,
baroque facades, Renaissance
palaces and stunning churches. The
city has a unique charm. We start
with a local departure for our journey
to the Continent and our first
“stopover” in Germany. From here we
make our way to Prague where

miss the breathtaking succession
of wide bridges, gold tipped spires

The old town square is the focal
point of the city and houses some
impressive buildings like the Town
Hall. Stroll across the stunning
Charles Bridge and explore
Hradcany Castle, overlooking the
city. The afternoon is at leisure for
you to explore on your own. You
may like to find the Jewish Quarter
or walk down the quaint side
streets and Mediaeval alleyways of

Prague
As well you can join these great

around a bend in the Vltava River
